Senior Customer Service Account Representative

DEPARTMENT:  Customer Service

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:  

Jerry Leigh is a fast-moving apparel manufacturer and is looking for a Senior Customer Service Representative with extensive experience servicing current and new customers.  This information will encompass but not be limited to, the account’s production and shipping requirements, required form and item set up submittals in customer’s portals and general manufacturing standards.  Critical to have concise communications skills, provide cohesive account communication between all company departments which will include working closely with the sales, accounting and production teams and the shipping department.  This position requires a thorough understanding of the business processes needed to fulfill a customer’s order, excellent organizational skills and detailed follow through procedures.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

To manage and encourage a positive relationship with Sales and account base through accurate, clear & timely order processing; systematic order maintenance; cohesive communication; and being in-tune with the accounts requirements and policies.

  • Process orders either manually or thru EDI for customers such as, Nordstrom, Costco, PriceSmart, Dillards, Meijer, Macy’s, Target, Walmart, etc in addition to Independent Specialty Stores along with Off-Price Retailers.
  • Communicate shortages, extensions and credit issues in order to process orders in a timely manner
  • Work with warehouse to ship orders ship on start date
  • When necessary, run reports for the sales team.
  • Frequently review detailed open report for over sold issues and to communicate with all CSR’s how orders are to be allocated
  • When necessary, enter orders into JL ERP system
  • Get TOP samples from Production to the buyer for approval
  • When needed, send samples to Reps with direction of Division Manager
  • Sales Support to Division President
  • Organize product and supplies and travel to trade shows when neccessary

To be able to make sound solid decisions in providing the best alternative for accounts’ needs and requirements, with cost efficiencies in mind.

  • Monitor charge back violations and work proactively with production, sales and the warehouse to reduce them.
  • Maximize inventory delivery by working with buyer to add excess finished goods received to orders.

To process orders with compliance to JLE procedures and account requirements.

  • Work with Design to create accurate art boards from the buyer’s actual buys.
  • Enter Bulk Sales Orders into B2B
  • Assemble the production package
  • Process all required customer forms including item set up sheets
  • Coordinate acquisition of price tickets with all pertinent information

To communicate accurately, clearly and timely order requirements to pre-production, productions and shipping departments

  • Coordinate with Production on all aspects of style product information
  • Coordinate manual/EDI bulks from Customer

To track and follow-up order status to ensure completion integrity.

  • Monitor cuts through the production system
  • Monitor Open Order Reports for orders approaching cancel dates, partial shipped orders, and invoiced orders with the goal to ship orders on the start date.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Graduate or GED Certificate
  • 5 Years min of account maintenance duties/Customer Service experience with a manufacturing environment servicing Major accounts along with Specialty Store Retailers
  • ABS, REPSPARK, EDI, NUORDER, PIM, POL, RETAIL LINK and other customer’s portal systems, internet proficient.
  • Cordial and courteous phone skills; Excel, Word, Outlook computer skills
  • Organized and complete follow-through
  • Attention to detail, strong problem solving
  • 80% of the workload is desk duties such as phone and computer tasks.  20% of the workload is walking paperwork or samples to other supporting departments.  The most weight carried does not exceed 10 lbs.

Merchandiser/Stock Associate

THE ROLE:

As a Merchandiser/Stock Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of merchandise presentation plans and priorities for assigned retail territories. Ensures an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized display of Jerry Leigh Merchandise at each assigned location.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that the floor pad at any given location remains clean, well stock, and easily shop-able while also maintaining strong relationships with store management/employees and customers.
  • Must be able to safely lift, pull, push and/or carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be trustworthy
  • Must work well independently & in a team environment
  • Must be able to handle a fast paced environment & multiple priorities at once
  • Assist receiving as necessary on order delivery days
  • Move all products from back room to the appropriate place on the floor as safely, quickly and efficiently as possible. This may include racks, cases, bins, and/or tables in various locations throughout a store/location. Requires pushing and/or pulling.
  • Ensure all racks are zoned – meaning organized properly by size/design (if there are multiple designs on an arm).
  • Process all “go back” product – this can be from the dressing room/customer service. (It is product that a customer decided not to purchase after putting it in their cart.)
  • Pulling product from the back room on delivery/non-delivery days (as needed).
  • Clean displays including (but not limited to) shelves, aisles, racks, etc.

PREFERRED:

  • Must have reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including nights and weekends
  • Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

The Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the growth of our company by delivering outstanding sales and service support to our account base and opening new accounts.  This individual will be a proactive, self-motivated, problem solver who will be capable of driving all sales initiatives and achieving domestic sales goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing account base.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans
  • Track and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Forecast product needs in the market.
  • Communicate and implement sales programs and marketing initiatives.

Graphic Artist/Sales Assistant – Body Glove & FiveStar

STATUS: Full-Time

Will Report To:  President of the Branded Division of Jerry Leigh

Position Description:

The Graphic Artist/Sales Assistant will work cross functionally with Sales and Production to create and develop artwork while supporting the overall company objective. This role will work closely with our President of the Branded Division of Jerry Leigh to conceptualize and create the most innovative designs for our customers at lightning speed. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, a strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, free thinking & deep understanding of design fundamentals. Must have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator. In addition, this is a fast-paced atmosphere, so the candidate must be flexible and willing to jump into any project as needed, at a moment’s notice.

Main Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Develop graphic designs from concept to final art form.
  • Partner with the Sales team to fine-tune, create art and merchandise based on the customers’ needs/requests that align with the brand’s strategy and needs.
  • Create buy boards, catalogs, marketing tools, such as: Evites, email blasts, and POP for retailers.
  • Creating customer specific CADs as a sales tool for the sales team and updating CADs as needed.
  • Creating Artwork into files that can be reproduced.
  • Produce graphic design through interpretation of design ideas.
  • Create and develop graphic items to include logos, illustrations, photographs, tags, labels and other graphics as it pertains to soft and/or hard goods.
  • Maintain branding consistency for all graphics.
  • Stay abreast of trends, new techniques, software’s, and resources in graphic design.
  • Solid understanding of product development process.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Support department ideas and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
  • Continues developing knowledge of domestic markets via competitive shopping.
  • Develop, enhance and maintain design archive in an organized manner to allow prompt and easy access for all product groups.
  • Develop Graphics that reflect and deliver brand needs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in Textile, Computer Aided Design, and Graphic Design in the apparel industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Textile or Graphic Design, or a combination of college education and industry-related work experience
  • Photoshop and Illustrator skills are another must have; and InDesign, nice to have
  • Familiar with NGC PLM product lifestyle management
  • Strong design aesthetic knowledge
  • Strong sense of image and type

    • Request PO corrections when necessary

    • Send TOP samples per account requirements for approval to ship POs
    • Respond to customer requests if changes are requested on POs
